The results for the Rookie Food Truck For 2015 are in. Congratulations to the Route Bistro food truck for winning Mobile Cuisine’s 2015 Rookie Food Truck of the Year!

Route Bistro

2015 saw the launch of a new food truck in Durham called Route Bistro. The Route Bistro food truck was created for the production of gourmet quality Latin cuisine and use of organic ingredients, grown by local farmers in North Carolina.

The Route Bistro menu was created by Colombian chef Julian Perez who has 15 years of experience in different Latin American and European cuisines .He was a teacher of culinary arts for five years at various universities in Colombia, and he studied in Argentina, specializing in Argentinian Molecular Gastronomy Association and French Culinary Academy with Chef Gerard Dupont.

We’ll learn more about the Route Bistro food truck and their award-winning Latin dishes soon.  Congratulations to the Route Bistro food truck team and their enthusiastic voters/diners!
