Food Truck Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Food Truck Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

*cue the Star Wars Empire theme music and scroll story*

A not so long time ago, in a city far, far away (not if you live in Washington DC)…

It is a period of civil war. Rebel
food trucks, striking from a not so hidden
street near you, are hoping to win a victory
against the evil Galactic Empire (the brick and mortar restaurant lobby).

During the battle, Rebel spies managed
to steal secret plans to the Empire’s
ultimate weapon, the Death Tax, a
piece of legislation with enough
power to destroy an entire industry.

Pursued by the Empire’s sinister agents,
SaveDCFoodTrucks.org races home aboard their
website, custodian of the stolen plans
that can save their people and restore
freedom to their city….

Mobile Cuisine Magazine asks you to help this cause and support the rebels (our brethren in the food truck industry).

Richard is an architect by degree (Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan) who began his career in real estate development and architectural planning. In September of 2010 he created Mobile Cuisine Magazine to fill an information void he found when he began researching how to start a mobile hotdog cart in Chicago. Richard found that there was no central repository of mobile street food information anywhere on the internet, and with that, the idea for MCM was born.
