Mobile Cuisine Contest: Dessert Food Truck of the Year – 2012
Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth from time to time? Because there are very few individuals who can make this claim, food trucks that specialize in desserts have exploded everywhere. From cupcakes to ice cream, adding dessert trucks to a food truck community has proven to be a necessity and boon to the consumers in those areas.
We at Mobile Cuisine would like to know who our readers feel is the best dessert food truck in the world and which truck has the best dessert item. Because of this, we are starting a competition to find out who it is.
Starting today, we are asking for you to submit your favorite dessert food trucks as well as your favorite dessert menu item. You may submit as many times as you would like, but each submission must be submitted individually. We will accept entries for this portion of the contest until Saturday, November 24th.
At that point we will narrow the field down to your top 10 selections (favorite dessert truck and favorite dessert). On Monday, November 26th, we will open up two polls for you to select from to determine the winner in each category. This poll will wrap up on Friday, December the 7th. The truck and dessert item with the most votes from each poll will be declared our winner.
Not only will the truck(s) lay claim to the title of Dessert Truck of the Year and/or Best Dessert from a Food Truck , the winning truck from each of these categories (they could actually be the same) will have a profile interview posted on Mobile Cuisine.
The trucks eligible for Favorite Dessert Food Truck must specialize in desserts (i.e. cupcakes, ice cream, yogurt, whoopee pies, pudding, etc…), while the Favorite Food Truck Dessert; can be from any truck, even if they only sell one dessert from their menu. Submissions must be of a food truck, trailer or cart that has been operating since the end of October 2012 (anywhere in the world).
Feel free to submit one or more trucks or desserts or even feel free to vote for a single truck more than once, however each entry must be submitted individually.
You may submit your votes on the form at the bottom of this page or email us at: email@example.com
Please include the name of the truck, the name of the dessert and the city, state (or country if they operate outside of the United States) the truck(s) operate in. We will contact each vehicle owner that makes it to the polling stage to submit images of their trucks or desserts, so don’t worry about attaching images of vehicles in your submission.
