Win 1 of 2 Pairs of Tickets to Route 66 Food Truck Fest in San Bernadino

Earlier today we shared a GroupOn Deal for this Food Truck Festival, only to find the the deal closed shortly after our original post. To make up for our error, we reached out to the promoters of the event and were able to get two pairs of VIP tickets to award to our readers.

Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PT)

San Bernardino, CA

Over 20 of the most skilled chefs in Southern California will be rolling into the infield of theSan Manuel stadium..San Bernardino’s single-A minor league baseball team in the California League. on Sunday April 22th 2012 from 11 to 5 as part of the first ever “Route 66 Food Truck Festival.” The stadium has plenty of grassy area, so bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Its a “Picnic in the Park” . There will be a Beer Garden sponsored and run by the stadium food and beverage department.

Conceived and organized by PBS television host Cliff Young aka the “Minister of Culinary Awareness”, who say’s “This is not your typical food truck festival, this event will offer cutting-edge culinary flavors from chefs who want to take your palette on a journey you won’t soon forget, you’ve got an unbelievable festival of haute cuisine you don’t want to miss”.

A portion of the proceeds will go to: The Symphonie Jeunesse

To music teacher and concert cellist Michele Tacchia, the young musicians of Symphonie Jeunesse are magical. Michele, founder and director of Symphonie Jeunesse Youth Orchestra for Strings, is passionate about working with her students, who range in age from 12 to 19. The 30-member ensemble represents San Bernardino, Rialto and Redlands communities.

The tickets:

VIP Tickets are regularly $20.00. VIP guests are allowed into the venue one hour earlier (10am), You get to enjoy the tables and chairs in the VIP tented area that is also stocked with free water/sodas and assorted goodies from our friends at Smart & Final.
