Spoon is a food truck concept located in Boston. Spoon’s inspiration
comes from Southern Illinois hog and cattle farms, coal mines, and roadside
pits that open up without permits. Hickory nut shells are the fuel of
choice giving a light smoke flavor to anything in the barrel.
Raised in the small village of Gennadi, on the island of Rhodes, Greece,
Renula taught her son Philip to cook. With the help of his theias (Renula
and Vasilia), his Yiayias (Eleni and Tina) and his sisters (Eleni,
Christina and Vasilia), Philip, the owner of Renula's Greek Kitchen,
learned the fine art of preparing traditional Rhodian fare.
