Burger King Food Truck Spotted Outside of Chicago

Berwyn, IL – While driving around suburban Chicago, we saw a curious sight…the Burger King food truck parked right in the parking lot of our local Berwyn Burger King. The truck was there as part of a nationwide tour to sample the king’s new line of smoothies, frappes, and chicken strips in an effort to remain relevant. Unfortunately the truck was unoccupied so we were unable to try their a strawberry-banana smoothie which we hear is delicious.

Burger King is rolling out 40 food trucks across the country, at least now we know Chicago will be one of it’s stops. Good for them that they don’t plan to cook the food fresh on board the truck since Chicago remains the only city in the 50 most populus cities in America that doesn’t allow cooking on board its food trucks.
