In two separate incidents in two cities on opposite sides of the country, the same thing happened. A food truck in Lexington, KY and Colorado Springs, Co were robbed at gun point. Each food truck was robbed and police are looking for the suspects.

LEXINGTON, KY – The Lexington Police Department say they’re on the lookout for two robbery suspects.

Police say two men robbed a food truck at around 11:30 PM on Friday night. It happened on Colesbery Circle off New Circle Road.

An employee says he was approached by two men dressed in all black with black handguns and carrying a black bag. He says they demanded cash and then ran off.

Witnesses tell police the suspects took off towards Grant Drive. Police brought out K-9’s but lost their trail around Hollow Creek Road.

Police have a limited description of the suspects. No arrests have been made.

In a completely different city on the other side of the country…

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police are looking for two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery early Sunday Morning.

Officers from the Sand Creek Division responded to a robbery call coming from the 2800 block of Airport Road, near the intersection of Airport Road and S. Circle Drive.

The victims told investigators that two men had entered their food truck and demanded money. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

The men left the food truck with an unknown amount of money. A K-9 unit tried to locate the suspects but was unsuccessful.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The search for the suspects is on-going.
