Jeff Kraus is the co-owner of the Truckin’ Good Food Truck and now The Crepe Bar (a brick and mortar location) in Arizona. His most recent tattoo is on the outside of his right forearm. The Ms. Pacman tattoo symbolizes the past, present, and the future.

The past, Ms. Pacman, is for his mom. She loved playing the game. If she were still alive, Kraus knows she would be proud of what he’s accomplished and would love the food he makes. The fruit that Ms. Pacman is about to munch on is a banana. The banana represents one of his most popular crêpes. The ‘my first time’ crêpe is filled with Nutella, banana slices, and spiced walnuts.

The future aspect of the tattoo is about movement. No matter what happens with his business, or in his life, he will always keep his eyes on the prize and keep moving towards it no matter the obstacles in the maze ahead. Michael Bacon, owner of Tattoo U, is the artist creating all of his culinary-inspired tattoos. Seriously, his last name is “bacon,” it couldn’t be more appropriate for Chef Kraus’ culinary theme.

Starting a specialty food truck business sounds as crazy as a flying pig. The lip lickin’ flying pig tattoo is located on the inside of his right bicep. With a little imagination and determination, anything is possible. This tattoo reminds him of that principle every time he looks at it.

The next one, a playful interpretation of a jar of Nutella, is located on the inside of his right forearm.

This one pays tribute to his first experience of having a street crêpe in France; the inspiration behind truckin’ good food’s concept; and his addiction to Nutella.
