Should I Start a Loyalty Program for My Food Truck?
Quote from lettuce grief on Oct 17, 2024, 5:20 pmHi! I’ve had my food truck up and running for a little over a month now, but traffic has been pretty slow. I’m thinking about starting a loyalty or punch card program to keep people coming back, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or if it really makes a difference. For those of you who have done this, did it actually help bring in repeat customers? Or am I better off focusing on something else to get more business?
Have punch cards worked for you?

Quote from freedom james on Oct 17, 2024, 6:07 pmPunch cards can help, but honestly, if you don’t have the traffic yet, it’s not gonna move the needle much. Gotta focus on getting new customers first before worrying about loyalty programs. It’s tough, but you might wanna invest in more marketing or local events to get people to try you out first.
Also, it depends on what you’re selling. If you're a coffee truck, it could work better because people get coffee regularly and could rack up points quick. But if you’re selling burgers or something more expensive, where people don’t come by as often, it could take forever for them to get a freebie, and they might not care as much about the card. Don't mean to sound like a jerk just trying to help. 🙂
