Food Trucks in FayettevilleFAYETTEVILLE, AR – Fayetteville has new rules for mobile eateries, after the council voted unanimously to adopt regulations for the kind of portable taco stands and barbecue huts that have sprung up in recent years at some commercial parking lots and at major intersections.

The food trailers are hauled by pickups and powered by generators.

Planners with the city said Fayetteville needed to regulate what they called a growing trend of food trucks to ensure they operated safely and met local and state health rules.

In addition to the city rules, the Cumberland County Health Department inspects mobile eateries.
