Food trucks are coming to Myrtle Beach following the approval of a pilot ordinance at a Myrtle Beach City Council meeting on Tuesday.

The ordinance will allow six food trucks to operate on private properties on parts of U.S. 17, Kings Highway, parts of 3rd Avenue South, and Highway 501.

Food trucks can also operate on city property that is approved for vendors, such as the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, Myrtle’s Market, and the Myrtle Beach Train Depot.
