Arepas El Cacao food truckORLANDO,FL – An armed food truck robbery on International Drive was caught on video and authorities are hoping the public can help identify the suspected criminals.

Earlier this month, workers for the Arepas El Cacao food truck parked in the 5300 block of International Drive — in the heart of Orlando’s tourist corridor — were robbed by two masked men, Orlando police said.

The Nov. 11 robbery was caught by the food truck’s camera, which showed the two suspected robbers assaulting a customer, taking his wallet and barging into the kitchen area to attack the worker.

One of the men, covering his face with what appears to be a shirt, pointed a silver revolver at both victims while a second man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, punched and shoved the men.

The men got away with cash from inside the truck and other items, which were not disclosed.

Both fled from the scene on foot, said police spokesman Sgt. Jim Young.
