San Antonio star basketball player Tony Parker is planning to open a food truck in the near future. Parker’s plan is to hand over the reigns to his personal chef Cliff Chetwood. The food truck Crème de la Crème will serve French cuisine. Time will tell if French food will do well in Texas, but the fact that Parker is giving this chef the opportunity by financially backing it will give this truck a good starting point.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Spur Tony Parker is about to pass the plate of authentic cuisine from his motherland to San Antonians via his new food truck, “Crème de la Crème.”

The 33-year-old Belgium native enlisted the kitchen expertise of Chef Cliff Chetwood, who has been the private cuisinier to Parker since 2011, to be the co-founder of the restaurant on wheels, according to a news release issued Tuesday.

The rookie food truck is set to make its debut to the local food scene on March 18 at The Point Park and Eats, located at 24188 Boerne Stage Road. Parker and Chetwood’s French “délicieux delights” will be a fresh option for San Antonio’s taco, barbecue and seafood-loving gourmands.
