For today’s Food Truck Throw Back Thursday we found this 1910 photograph that shows a street vendor known as a hokeypokey man, with a donkey-drawn wagon, dispensing his treats on Philadelphia’s Germantown Avenue. Hokeypokey man was used as a slang term for ice cream vendors.
