ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A week of foodie heaven at Borgata climaxes with the annual Savor Borgata Saturday in the Event Center. This gastronomic gathering brings together all of the hotel’s celebrity chefs, from Wolfgang Puck to Bobby Flay.

The Street Eats theme for Savor Borgata worked so well last year, the food and beverage mavens brought it back for an encore.

Street Eats plays off the popularity of urban food trucks. But don’t expect to see real trucks, just the facades of trucks.

“We give the illusion of a street festival without bringing in trucks,” said Executive Chef Tom Biglan. “We’re excited about it. It’s even better this year.”

Better, as in 20 such trucks serving 20 different items, all prepared by Borgata chefs, celebrity and in-house. Add in desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Thaddeus DuBois, craft beers by Leinenkugel, a variety of wines from across the country, culinary demonstrations by Flay and Puck, live music and games.

“It’s rare that one property has all the chefs under one roof for an event,” noted Borgata spokesperson Brian Brennan.
