ODESSA, TX – A food truck in Odessa has been destroyed by a fire.

Rob Jenkins, the owner of Po Boys Rich Chicks Cajun Kitchen, confirmed that his food truck caught fire early Wednesday morning.

The fire started around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters rushed to the scene in the 2800 block of Langtree Avenue overnight.

We’re told the blaze sparked up in the engine compartment on the passenger side. The truck was about two feet away from a house when it went up in flames.

However, the fire didn’t damage the home.

The blaze is not believed to be caused by arson because of the place where it started.

A Go Fund me account has been set up by another food truck vendor in support of Jenkins and his business.

With the public’s help, Jenkins hopes to get Po’ Boys and Rich Chics back up and running in the next two months.
