The results for our Dessert food truck contest for 2018 are in. So we want to send out congratulations to Chez Moi of Durham, NC for winning the title of 2018 Dessert Food Truck Of The Year!!! After counting the over 6,100 total votes submitted in the poll Chez Moi is our winner.

Chez Moi food truck is based out of a specialty bakery which offers a variety of desserts not found in traditional bakeries. They offer outstanding flavors in our high-quality, made-from-scratch desserts which are mixed in small batches. While they are known for our rum cake, they are all about branching out into other unique desserts. You’ll find these additions on their dessert truck.

They have been in business for the past 7 years in Durham, North Carolina, which started on a cruise to the Grand Caymans. After a rum-tasting onboard the ship and an excursion which included a visit to a local rum cake bakery. They brought back a few bottles of rum and having always baked for family and friends, decided to try a rum cake. It ended up being something spectacular!

Restaurants, specialty food stores and other gourmet food establishments purchase Chez Moi products. They serve their retail customers locally by appointment, at our dessert truck, and by providing shipments throughout the U.S. They have even shipped as far as Afghanistan!
