At certain times in your food truck employees lives they can feel more vulnerable and their senses of job security and confidence can easily evaporate. Never has it felt more important to watch out for the people you employee in your food truck enterprise. A boss who backs up their staff members provides an emotional relief as well as a material one.

But don’t assume that your food truck team members know that you’d go above and beyond to support them. Even the best food truck owners can be poor judges of what it’s like to work for them. Make it clear by telling your employees that you have their backs. And, since actions always speak louder than words, take every opportunity to demonstrate your unwavering support and avoid creating situations that make it seem like it’s every man (or woman) for themselves.
