7 Year Old Michigan Food Cart Pod Shutting It’s Doors At End Of Season

ANN ARBOR, MI – Mark Hodesh is slowly stepping away from his multiple business ventures and easing into retirement, he said, reasons he cited for closing Mark’s Carts on Washington Street, between Ashley and First.

The pop-up food truck court known as Mark’s Carts is closing for good sometime in the last week of October, Hodesh told The Ann Arbor News. Vendors have been notified of the closure.

“In August or so, I start thinking about the next year: who was not going to come back, who wants to come back and new people who have asked to be part of this,” Hodesh said.

Mark’s Carts operates out of a courtyard behind Downtown Home & Garden at 211 W. Washington St.
