he DC Doner food truck caught fire Tuesday morning in Northwest Washington.

Fire officials say the blaze started in the back driver’s side of the van and burned forward into the vehicle.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and officials believe it may be connected to the generator of the truck. Both a stationary and portable generator were burned.

DC Fire says the incident happened in the 700 block of 12 St., Northwest.

There were no reports of injuries, and fire officials say an investigation is underway.

The DC Doner food truck sells chicken wings, sandwiches, and gyros according to their page on Yelp.
