ROYAL OAK, MI – The food truck craze is sweeping the nation with many culinary television focusing on the growing interest in mobile eateries.

Royal Oak will play host to many different food trucks as they roll into Royal Oak Farmers Market on Wednesday evening to serve up their best dishes.

The event, dubbed “Street Eats Wednesday,” will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E. Eleven Mile, in downtown Royal Oak.

Trucks that will be featured Wednesday inside the farmers market include Jacques’ Tacos, Ned’s Travelburgers, Taco Mama, Franks Anatra, Concrete Cuisine, Treat Dreams and El Guapo Fresh Mexican Grill.

The food truck event is sponsored by the Michigan Mobile Food Vendors Association and will feature live entertainment by the band Reeferman.

Admission to the event is free and food trucks will be donating all their tips to Forgotten Harvest, Focus HOPE, Camp KC and the Michigan Humane Society.
