INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Indy’s food trucks are now involved in the biggest event to hit the city: the Super Bowl.

Two dozen trucks will line the northwest portion of Monument Circle and Market Street leading up to, and including, Super Bowl Sunday.

One truck owner said he’ll even need to hire more staff.

“Who doesn’t want to be a part of Super Bowl?” John Ban, owner of The NY Slice food truck, asked. “It’s the largest sporting event, it’s going to be televised, it’s just a great atmosphere, tons of parties.”

If pizza isn’t your taste, another truck may have what is.

“We are going to have everything from tenderloins to pizza, sandwiches, cupcakes, brownies, coffee, gourmet mac ‘n cheese, pretzels, tacos,” Susie Townsend with the Super Bowl Host Committee said.

Trucks will operate in two separate shifts; 12 trucks per shift. Trucks will be on the circle from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 27-29 and Feb. 2-5.
