JACKSONVILLE, FL – Food trucks are popular and soon they will be rolling into Duval County high schools serving hot meals with the menu the work of student chefs.
Two trucks will be part of the rolling lunch program with the trucks rotating to high schools this fall and early next year to middle schools.
Chartwells-Thompson School Dining Services says students requested food trucks with one student even designing the artwork that that displays, “Brainfood” on the truck.
The food service company says it will reach students through social media on the truck’s schedule and the menu for the day.
