What a blessing you are giving to our soldiers. When I returned from Vietnam in 1972, my only thought was that I needed to quickly do “life” … So much had passed me by. So, I asked a friend to set me up on a blind date, took a job in furniture sales, bought a brand new Pontiac Grand Prix and moved into an apartment. Within a year, I was married to someone I barely knew, had a beautiful baby boy I adored, a great car and a job I hated! Needless to say, the marriage did not survive but commission was good in those days, so I convinced myself to accept this was my career future. Now at 62, past middle age?, but still feel as this is the “half time” of my life. With 40 plus years of sales and management in operations and customer service, the grilled cheese truck entrepreneur created a spark as I listened to Bode Miller on Today show. Would you be interested in this proud husband to my bride of 32 years, father, grandfather and energetic Vietnam Veteran?
