MEMPHIS, TN – One local business owner has mixed emotions after his food truck was stolen from the parking lot of the gas station he owns in Whitehaven.

It was recovered Wednesday afternoon, but now he asks the question so many others are asking… “What can the city do to keep the people who live here and their businesses safe?”

Through surveillance video you can see the scene Wednesday morning at Elvis Presley Blvd. and Winchester at the Exxon gas station as someone hooked their SUV up to a food truck and stole it.

Samyr Elmouchantaf, the Exxon owner, said, “Is this the vehicle that took it? That’s the same exact vehicle, and I have a picture of him actually hooking up the truck to the vehicle.”
