MIRAMAR— A woman was hurt when her mobile lunch truck rolled over on Miramar Parkway early Wednesday.

The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. in westbound lanes near the busy intersection with Monarch Boulevard.

Orlando Sanchez said his wife, Maribel, was driving west on Miramar Parkway, heading for Okeechobee Road in Miami-Dade County to sell food to industrial workers. Suddenly a Honda van turned in front of her truck, he said.

She swerved while trying to avoid hitting the van, and the truck flipped onto its side, said Sanchez, who was at the couple’s home in Miramar at the time.

Maribel Sanchez was taken to a local fire-rescue station and later flown to Memorial Regional Hospital, her husband said. Her condition was not immediately available.
