NASHVILLE, TN – The owner of El Antojito said it’s usually busy around lunch time, but when an armed robber came to the back door of his food truck, no one was around except his three employees.

“When I opened the door, he pulled out the gun,” said Luis Godoy, of El Antojito.

Godoy told NewsChannel 5 he wasn’t worried about his life. All he could think about were the three frightened women inside the truck.

“The ladies were scared, and I told them it’s okay, don’t worry, stay right there, don’t move,” said Godoy.

Godoy opened the door and told the man to come in and take what he wanted. While the man was walking in, that’s when Godoy clenched the suspect’s throat.

“And I grabbed the gun. When I had the gun, he turned around and walked right there, and I’m pushing,” said Godoy.

After a brief struggle, Godoy was able to disarm the suspect.
