The food truck craze has hit United States hard, and this Friday, June 23rd has been dubbed National Eat At A Food Truck Day. You can even score a free food truck meal at many trucks around the country.

No matter which truck you go to, participating or not, June 23rd is about saying thank you to the men and women who work hard to bring delicious food to all of us.  So get out there, go hungry, and show your local food truck some love.

Every single day, millions of people eat at food trucks across the country. Well, it’s about time this beautiful mashup of al fresco dining and delicious communal experiences had a dedicated day for us to honor the hardworking food truck operators who get up early and stay out late so that we never have to eat a sub-par hot dog ever again.

Spread the word that on June 23rd, participating Food Trucks in over 30 major metro areas will be offering a free meal if you bring a #FoodTruckFriend. Just use the words “Food Truck Friend” when purchasing and your friend gets a free meal of equal or lesser value to the one you purchase.
