PORTLAND, OR – In part thanks to its designation as an Urban Renewal Area, the Lents neighborhood in deep Southeast Portland has been on the move. The sprawling Zoiglhaus Brewing Co. brought quality beer and German plates in late 2015 (R.I.P. Copper Penny), and now another major food option is on the horizon in the restaurant-starved area: Flipside Bar and Carts.

Setting up shop at 9320 SE Woodstock in the big lot right before the I-205, Flipside Bar and Carts will take up around 2600 square feet and provide seating for more than 90, with 65 seats indoors and 32 outdoors. Karaoke, live music, and DJs are also in the works.

Flipside Bar and Carts is owned by the Lisac family, who tell WWeek they plan to have eight food carts, 15 beers on tap in the bar area, and a rooftop deck. No food carts have been confirm. Flipside Bar and Carts is aiming to open in late-spring 2018.
