WEST CARROLLTON, OH – West Carrollton is looking to relax rules on food truck operators, who say the more than $1,100 cost for a mobile food vendor license is driving away business.

The city is reviewing the fee structure and requirements after vendors questioned officials about the issue, contending the guidelines “are prohibitive and designed to discourage mobile food vendors from locating in the city,” records show.

The fees “are somewhat high,” said West Carrollton Planning Director Greg Gaines.
