A food truck business that just opened its doors a month ago hopes to be back open next week, after thieves ransacked the insides and walked off with the stove, grill, and kitchen supplies.

“I was very disappointed, I don’t know who was it,” said Eduardo Nonato, as he made a list of missing stuff crooks stole Tuesday night while the vehicle was parked in a plaza lot on Westerville Rd.

Nonato Kitchen was targeted just a month after the family-owned business started serving Mexican specialties in the LInden neighborhood.

“It’s sad,” said Nonato.

He says crooks stole the truck’s battery just a few weeks after they opened the kitchen. The family never replaced the battery, expecting the crooks would return.
