SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo is hosting a public forum Tuesday, Jan. 30, to answer questions and gather input about the spread of food trucks in the community.

The gathering will be at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Road. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Officials from the City’s Health Services, Planning and Development Services, Police, and Parks and Recreation departments will be on hand to answer questions and hear comments related to the trucks and their operation.

Topics to be discussed at the forum will include; permit requirements, food truck events, ordinances regulating food truck operations and how zoning affects where and how food trucks may operate.
