LAREDO, TX – The Laredo City Council is looking to make a move on mobile food trucks being allowed to operate in city parks.

Councilmember George Altgelt says he would like to see food vendors operate in the parks, so that they can help the community become more active and enjoy the outdoors.

The councilman says he feels that concessions stands may be monopolizing the food selling business and by allowing food trucks they can help generate more competition.
