OC Food Truck Transformed To The OC Fair Food Truck
The existing gourmet food truck was re-wrapped to reflect the branding of this year’s OC Fair which is themed, “Let’s Eat!” The truck will represent the Fair June-August.
While the truck will stay on the gourmet food truck circuit, it will also be represented at the Fair every Thursday from Noon-10 p.m. along with a handful of other trucks from Orange County and Los Angeles.
“We decided to piggyback on the success of The OC Food Truck and the popularity of the OC Fair and wrap it into one, delicious package to promote the summer event. This partnership is a win for us, the truck and of course, our guests!” said Robin Wachner, Director of Communications for the OC Fair & Event Center.
Dylan Watkins, owner of The OC Food Truck said, “We’re excited to be a part of the OC Fair. This year will be a unique, fun-filled experience that gives visitors from near and far a taste of California they will never forget.”
The truck, which already serves Fair-friendly food such as deep-fried Twinkies and tempura bacon, will offer other Fair-oriented specials throughout the summer. The OC Fair Food Truck will offer promotions, discounts and freebies for the 2011 Fair. Follow twitter.com/theocfoodtruck and twitter.com/ocfair for locations, specials and promotions.
The 2011 OC Fair, themed LET’S EAT!, is July 15 – August 14 and will bring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the popular Super Pass (season pass), Pacific Amphitheatre Summer Concert Series, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. The OC Fair was ranked the eighth highest attended fair in the U.S. last year by Venues Today magazine.
