TULSA, OK – People are stepping up to help a local man who had his food truck generator stolen.

Travis Lawley said his generator cost over $2,600, but it won’t matter if he never gets it back because of the kindness of others.

Lawley said he filed a report on the missing generator after he woke up Thursday and it was stolen. Afterward, he turned to social media in order to keep his business alive.

An anonymous woman saw a post online and offered to give her generator to Lawley for free.

The donator she generated was the exact same model that Lawley had lost, but it needed a new battery, starter and tires.

Joey Jamison with J&J Powersports then stepped in and made the repairs, which would have costed around $300, for free.
