OCONOMOWOC, WI – A man threatened two women working at Chilango Express, a Mexican food truck in downtown Oconomowoc, with a knife Tuesday afternoon. Police say they were called around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday by one of the women who said the man demanded money from the two women and then fled the scene.

The man, described as white, in his 20s with a thin build and about 5 feet 11 inches tall, took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and has not been located.

The truck was parked in the 200 block of East Wisconsin Avenue Tuesday when the suspect wearing a white T-shirt and tan cargo shorts robbed the women working inside the truck.

Police arrived at the scene two minutes after the call and searched the area but with no success. The man also took a green apron which contained cash.

Police Chief Dave Beguhn said the last robbery in the area involved a serial bank robber who hit banks in the area and was later caught. However, the man never displayed a weapon.

Police ask anyone with information to call (262) 567-4401.
