2011 Zagat Guide: Food Truck Reviews?
You may color me as surprised as Minnesota Viking Fans who just found out Randy Moss may be headed back to town or the Cigar Guy who has become “the” overnight internet story. The prestigious 2011 Zagat Guide has hit the shelves, and when you open up the directory, you will find a new feature; Food Truck reviews.
From New York City and Washington D.C. to Los Angeles and San Francisco, Zagat Survey has been providing reviews of many of the countries restaurants for years. Now they have tapped into the recent food truck fever and have added trucks to their lists of restaurants.
Los Angeles favorite trucks were: Border Grill, Flying Pig, Phamish and Kogi BBQ.
- 28 percent of those surveyed frequent gourmet food trucks.
San Francisco favorite trucks were: El Tonayense, RoliRoti, Spencer on the Go! and Let’s Be Frank.
- 23 percent of those surveyed follow food trucks via Twitter and Facebook.
