The results for our food truck seafood dish contest for 2017 are in. So we want to send out congratulations to Cape Elizabeth, Maine based Bite Into Maine for winning Mobile Cuisine’s 2017 Food Truck Seafood Dish of the Year! After counting nearly 1,000 total votes submitted in the poll Bite Into Maine is our winner.

Bite Into Maine

Sarah and Karl Sutton, who moved to Scarborough from South Portland this summer, launched Bite Into Maine in 2011 in Cape Elizabeth’s Fort Williams Park. The couple said they started their business after they tried lobster rolls across the state and thought the variety was lacking.

Their truck (and future restaurant) serves fresh Lobster on the ocean, with a view of the Portland Headlight. They bring an authentic Maine experience to their customers. Being in Maine demands that they have high standards. They serve only fresh and locally sourced sourced lobster, bread, and butter…as well as local vegetables, drinks, and desserts.

The next time you are in their area, come see why they have been consistently named one of Maine’s best lobster rolls and now America’s best sandwich in 2017. Congratulations to the Bite Into Maine Food Truck and their enthusiastic voters/diners!
