The results for our Dessert food truck contest for 2017 are in. So we want to send out congratulations to Urban Sugar of Portland, ME for winning the title of 2017 Dessert Food Truck Of The Year!!! After counting the over 3,400 total votes submitted in the poll last year’s winner, Urban Sugar has defended their 2016 title.

Urban Sugar Donuts is a sweet shop and mobile food truck. They started as a food truck in the Portland, Maine area and are on the move, recently opening their first brick and mortar location at Sugarloaf Mountain. Hot and fresh bite-sized gourmet donuts are their specialty. They offer both sweet and the savory varieties, so whether you are seeking a sugar rush or not, they have something for you.
Kevin Sandes, culinary trained and raised in the Carolina’s, brings his passion to the sweet and savory side of his donut menu in creating melt-in-your-mouth treats. Kevin has always had a love for donuts and the desire to take them a step further, kick them up a few notches.
