The results for our grilled cheese food truck contest for 2018 are in. So we want to send out congratulations to Ft. Wayne, IN based Who Cut the Cheese for winning Mobile Cuisine’s 2018 Grilled Cheese Food Truck of the Year! After counting the over 50,000 total votes submitted in the poll Who Cut the Cheese is our winner.
Who Cut the Cheese
Who Cut The Cheese is a grilled cheese food truck that hit the street of Fort Wayne 2015. It’s been a long journey for owner, Lori Koble. Lori was involved in the food service industry before 2014, but when she relocated to Fort Wayne, she begin a new chapter of her career.
She found herself following the Food Truck explosion on TV and show interest in food trucks grow locally as well. She began researching and getting in touch with various food truck owners. In late 2015, She just felt like the timing was right to dive in…head first.
Kole said, “I decided to serve something totally different than the other Food Trucks in operation around the Fort Wayne area today. And I mean, who doesn’t love a Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich?” She wanted her customers to experience the MANY ways to indulge in a Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich.
Some of their Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwiches include: The Godfather, Baby Got Mac, The Tin Cap, 3 Little Pigs, Go Fig Or Go Home, The Morning After and Oh My Gouda. Along with these, they have fries and loaded tater tots. Soups are served seasonally. To name the ingredients of each sandwich would go on forever, as each one has its own unique twists and flavors.
