Burchie’s: 2019 Hot Dog Vendor Of The Year

After Chad Burchfield spent time as a cook in the US Army, he has dreamed of having his own kitchen. He began a career in hotel management to gain hospitality management experience and last year with the help of co-owner and wife Sasha, they were able to save enough and qualify for a small business loan to make their dream come true.

Burchie’s started as a hot dog cart in Gallop, NM. They bought a hot dog cart and spent time and money upgrading the cart. They put countless hours into branding and planning. Their first day on the road was in a small rural area, where they were able to get their bearings and find a rhythm. They had an amazing day but on the way home while making a left turn and a driver barreled into them.

After having their their cart totaled by this driver texting, they were able to upgrade their cart into a trailer. At that time they moved and re-opened in Chandler, Arizona in January of 2019. Since that time they’ve become part of the community and built their brand.

We’ll learn more about Burchie’s  in the future and report back to you.  Congratulations to the Burchie’s team and their more than enthusiastic voters/diners!
