Of course, I’ve been visiting Applebee’s since I was a high schooler. The closest location was about 25 miles away from my hometown and we would often drive eat late-night appetizers after football games or before school dances with a date. The restaurant was considered a destination for special occasions at the time and still is to this day in rural America and the suburbs.
