Who wouldn’t love a creamy, savory pasta made with angel hair pasta, zucchini, roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, and saffron cream sauce? Unfortunately, the ingredient like saffron is often considered the world’s most expensive spice. One reason saffron is so expensive is because it’s typically sourced from outside the United States. The flower is also easily damaged during the harvest process that’s often completed by hand. Fortunately, Maggiano’s still offers plenty of alternatives if you’re craving pasta.
The Crab Cake Benedict
One out of 5 benedicts that Maggiano’s used to offer when they released this dish was the Crab Cake Benedict. This menu item featured jumbo lump crab cakes, English muffins, poached eggs, and house-made hollandaise sauce.
I even read this was a a breakfast item everyone should try least tried once in their life. But the only option we have these days is the try to recreate the flavor with a copycat recipe. I’m still waiting for the day they’ll put this back on the menu so I can taste it myself.

Back at Maggiano’s corporate headquarters, they decided their Gluten Free Bread Rolls just weren’t cost-effective as the sales were not meeting expectations. It’s hard to find good gluten-free bread that actually tastes like bread.

Maggiano’s tortellacci featured chicken, Italian cheese, creamy white wine truffle sauce, and Nueske ham.
One other bonus discontinued item I’d like to share is Maggiano’s $2 mimosas. This was a limited-time promo offered all month long. You could enjoy finely crafted mimosas for brunch or dinner along with your order for just $2 a glass. I mean, who wouldn’t want this deal brought back?

Those who have tried it report that Marco’s Meal is a meal for two that includes dine-in pasta, another pair for to-go, and a for-sharing appetizer and dessert. All of that for just $39.99. You may even choose a different pasta for your to-go option.
