As we have written numerous times, organizing your food truck workflow will boost your productivity & help you to get things done. Today we’ll share a productivity application that will help you do that. Trello is the easy, free, flexible, and visual way to manage your projects and organize anything in your food truck business.

Trello Productivity App Review

In the past, many of us used a pack of Post-it notes and a large whiteboard to organize projects. Trello is essentially an online version of this same system. It allows users to create different cards and organize them into lists and boards.

This app is fast, flexible, and even fun to use, and in minutes you’ll organize all of the components for your food truck projects into columns and cards that are easy to drag around, add supporting details to, comment on, and assign from person to person on your food truck team. You can create different boards for different projects, set due dates or times for each card or set of cards, and more.

It can be used to plan simple projects like what you will serve during your food truck’s next shift or complex projects for the growth of your food truck empire. I’ve even used Trello to create a home meal planning board and another board to store many recipes I want to prepare in the future to simplify my life.

It can be adapted to fit your workflow or your food truck team, so you can use anyway you need to.

How Much Does Trello Cost?

According to their website, “Trello is free forever.” The free version of Trello provides unlimited boards, users, and attachments (with a 10 MB max per file upload). However, if you are looking for more, Trello also offers two upgraded versions of the software:

Trello Gold (for individual users): $5/month or $45/year

  • Allows for 250 MB max file size
  • Access to custom board backgrounds
  • Additional stickers
  • Custom emoji

Business Class (for organizations): $8.33/user/month (when paid annually)

  • Allows for 250 MB max file size
  • Access to custom board backgrounds
  • Additional stickers
  • Custom emoji
  • Business grade administrative controls and security
  • Bulk addition of members via Google Apps
  • Domain-restricted invites
  • Ability to deactivate members without removing their work or history
  • Option to invite board “observers,” who have read-only access to board content
  • Bulk data export

Customers who choose monthly subscriptions are automatically billed on the first business day of each month, while yearly subscribers are billed each year on the anniversary of their initial subscription. Paid plans may be cancelled at any time, and Trello offers full refunds to users who cancel their accounts within 90 days of signing up. Additionally, users who recommend Trello.com to other people receive a free month of Trello Gold, providing the other party ends up subscribing to the software.

Personally, I love Trello and use the free plan. It is the perfect productivity app for managing large or small food truck projects staying on top of business and personal to-do lists, and is extremely easy to use. We give Trello 5 stars for it’s ease of use, availability on PCs, MACs, and provides Iphone and Android apps to keep your entire team in the loop as your food truck business grows.
