Brisket & Mac Egg Rolls

The Brisket & Mac Egg Rolls were a seasonal dish that made a huge impact on customers – so much so that some begged for it to come back. The dish was loaded with savory, slow-smoked Brisket, creamy, Homestyle Mac & Cheese, and a hint of spicy Pepper Jack cheese. This combination was served with a side of signature Smokin’ Ranch dipping sauce adding a smoky, ranch-style flavor to the dish.

Turkey Dishes

Sonny’s BBQ is currently facing some challenges with its supply of turkey, which is why they have decided to temporarily discontinue its turkey dishes. As a result, all customers will have to wait until the supply chain issues are resolved.

Hot Link & Pimento Cheese Burger

The Hot Link & Pimento Cheese Burger was an instant classic when it was added to the seasonal Smoke and Fire Menu. Customers brave enough to order this unique burger were rewarded with the flavor of hot-and-smoky links, creamy pimento cheese and zesty banana peppers. Longtime customers are left to speculate whether the burger will ever be featured on the menu again.

Mild BBQ Sauce

Sonny’s BBQ made the decision to discontinue its iconic ‘Mild’ barbecue sauce and replace it with a brand new ‘Original’ barbecue sauce. This decision not only shocked their loyal customers, but it also sparked outrage as many customers had grown to love the mild sauce. In response to the change, some customers even created a petition in an attempt to bring it back. Despite the controversy, Sonny’s BBQ remains committed to its new ‘Original’ sauce.

Pulled Pork Tacos 

Slow-smoke pulled pork was stuck into a tortilla and garnished with crispy onion straws, melted cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of Sweet Vinegar Sauce. 

Real Deal Rib Sandwich

I like to think of this as the pit masters version of a McRib. Imagine how much better it could be. The sandwich featured Baby Back Ribs that were smoked low and slow. Then expert Pitmasters carefully removed each bone by hand. To top it off the sandwich was crowned with fried banana peppers, pickles, and red onions, all comfortably nestled between two slices of the toasted bun. Maybe it was too much work to produce this sandwich? We may never know the real reason for its departure. 

Salad Bar

Sonny’s BBQ has made the difficult decision to remove the salad bar from all of Sonny’s BBQ locations. After careful consideration, they realized that in order to serve the best food possible, they needed to focus on the items that their Pitmasters create by hand.
