The Boiling Crab began as a humble mom-and-pop store tucked away in a small town of Garden Grove, California in 2004. It’s unique offering of a backyard crab boil grill experience quickly caught the attention of locals, and soon, people from miles around were making the trip to experience this one-of-a-kind restaurant. After years of success and growth, the Boiling Crab has now become an international phenomenon, bringing its signature crab boil grill experience to the rest of the world.

The restaurant’s concept is truly unique and has been gaining popularity, as it allows customers to enjoy a variety of seafood dishes without the need for utensils. They have a Vietnamese-Cajun twist called “The Whole Sha-Bang” that adds an extra layer of flavor to seafood (my personal favorite).

Get your giant bibs ready because it’s time to take a look at the menu items and prices at The Boiling Crab in 2024. One disclaimer about the menu prices: The Boiling Crab regularly changes prices weekly to reflect the market price of seafood by the pound. While I will continue to update the prices on this post as frequently as possible, I would only use this as a rough estimate for prices because they will change often depending on seasonality and supply.

FAQs about The Boiling Crab Menu

What menu items have been discontinued at The Boiling Crab?

Since its opening in 2004, the menu at the restaurant has remained fairly consistent over the years and is largely determined by the fresh seafood that’s available. For instance, The Boiling Crab in Australia offers some different seafood options than what’s offered in the United States.

In Australia, you can find menu items like baby octopus, sea snails, abalone, and Australian Lobster, all of which are common catches Down Under. In the United States, Snow Crab Leg and Dungeness Crabs are more widely available.

There is one thing that will always make it taste amazing and that is their unique blend of Cajun seasonings called The Whole Shebang.

The Snow Crab Legs at The Boiling Crab is a delicacy that’s sure to please seafood lovers. Each order of this delicious dish consists of one cluster, including half a body, 4-5 legs, and the claw. The Boiling Crab holds a special place in my heart because it’s the first place my wife and I shared our first meal together. At the time, we were both in our mid twenties and had met earlier in the day at a pool party. One of my friends happened to be celebrating a birthday party at the Boiling Crab that evening. I invited the girl I met to this party and she accepted my invitation. The rest, as they say, is history and I’m happy to report we are still happily married to this day.
