Caribou Coffee has discontinued a number of coffee flavors over the years. Some of the discontinued flavors include:

• Peppermint Bark (Usually returns to menu around Christmas.)

Caribou Coffee typically discontinues flavors when they are no longer popular with customers or were limited-time offerings during the holiday season. One drink you can safely expect to return each year leading up to fall is the Pumpkin Spiced Latte. You can expect new drinks to be rolled out each quarter to keep the menu fresh.

The easiest way to save is to join the Caribou Perks loyalty program. When you enroll, you’ll earn a free large or medium beverage after the first visit. But the discounts don’t end there.

• Earn points for every purchase. You can earn 2 points for every $1 you spend at Caribou Coffee. Points can be redeemed for free drinks, food, and merchandise.
• Get a free drink on your birthday. Caribou Coffee will give you a free drink on your birthday.
• Receive exclusive offers and discounts. Caribou Coffee often offers exclusive offers and discounts to Caribou Perks members. These offers can save you money on drinks and food items.
• Be the first to know about new products and promotions. Caribou Coffee will send you exclusive emails and notifications about new products and promotions when you are signed up for the Caribou Perks program. A current offer is free non-dairy creamer like oat milk and almond milk. If you’re not part of the loyalty program, you may not find out.
• Support a good cause. Caribou Coffee donates a portion of the proceeds from the Caribou Perks program to the Caribou Coffee Foundation that supports coffee farmers.

For a limited time Caribou Coffee is also offering oat milk or almond milk to be added to a drink at no additional charge. It’s unclear when this offer will end so take advantage of it while you can. No doubt this is in part a response to Starbucks offering all plant-based creams free of charge. Of course, you can continue to add dairy cream to any coffee or tea at no additional charge as well.

Another way to save money is to enjoy Caribou Coffee at home. You can now order Caribou Coffee pods or beans online and at most major retailers in the United States including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. You can also usually find a mixer pack of coffee pods that includes Caribou Coffee at Costco too. Since I don’t have a Caribou Coffee close to where I live, I like order these for a taste of home.

• Zebra Mocha: White and dark chocolate in a mocha.
• The Caramel Apple Spice: This is a hot apple cider with caramel syrup and whipped cream.
