What menu items have been discontinued at Penn Station?

Two menu items at Penn Station have been officially discontinued. Sadly, you can no longer order a Sausage Sub with Pizza Sauce and their Chicken Salad. The former was a big hit when it was still available.

One other thing discontinued by Penn Station was their mobile app and points-based loyalty program back in 2020. Penn Station cited challenges related to the pandemic as the reason they stopped this program. 

Are there any coupons or BOGO sub offers you can claim at Penn Station? 

One way to save money at Penn Station is by joining the E-Club. When you register, you’ll get a coupon for a buy one, get one free sub sandwich reward.

Reuben is another Off The Grill popular menu item. This sandwich can come grilled, cold, rolled up in a wrap, or transformed into a salad. Vegetarians can order the Veggie Subs straight off the menu without customization. Veggie Subs come grilled, cold, wrapped, as a lighter option or salad. And because you have the power to remove or add ingredients, you can always ask to have the meat removed from any of their subs and replace them with any of their veggie extras. You can also choose to have either white or multi-grain bread.

As for vegans, the teriyaki sauce is known to be vegan-friendly. Other hacks include kindly asking the register to have a Veggie sub free of their buttery oil. Manage your expectation with this hack though since Penn Station’s prized premium oil plays a big part in keeping their bread chewy, tasty, and intact. They have yet to offer a vegan alternative to their oil in stores.

As for low-carb and calorie cutters, Penn Station offers a Lighter Options menu that includes Artichoke and Veggie subs. They also have the Snack Size menu which is their Cold Deli Classic and Off the Grill menu made into smaller 3-inch versions.
